About the Internship

As per the MHRD report on Educational Statistics at a Glance, 2018, the all- India average dropout rate of primary students is 4.13 per cent while it is 4.03 per cent in upper primary and 17.06 per cent in the secondary levels. To overcome this challenges society started “Teaching Internship” program to teach 1) dropouts 2) slum children 3) under privilege children and 4) poor children.

During the cource of this internship students searching children/students from their nearby places like slum, railways, bus stations, villages and remote areas for regular teaching and learning. They are working for the socio-emotional and ethical learning of the students through activities like sports, arts, poetry, theatre, etc.

Interns collaborated or contacted with the local municipal councilor or village head for short/long rehabilitation. they coordinate with the parents/guardians of the students for their sustainability. Interns submitted teaching/activities photos, videos, and reports online
